What you need to know
The National Bank of Georgia classifies activities such as exchange, transfer, custody and administration, as well as other operations listed by the regulator and performed for another person, as virtual asset services. Providers are subject to registration with the National Bank.
What to do in practice
Before launching, describe your business model, movement of funds, clients and participants' roles. Compare them with the registration rules and anti-money laundering requirements. Registering a company does not replace VASP registration and does not guarantee that a bank account will be opened.
